| comments | Run, don't walk to this upscale barbeque destination in lower Berkeley. Excellent service and 110 volt comfort food (e.g. chopped romaine with dungeness crab and Green Goddess dressing) plugged into a 220 volt outlet. T-Rex buzzes on all levels, and won my heart and tongue with its North Carolina-style pulled pork shoulder, tart with vinegar and spicy. Can you say yummy? |

| comments | When I am staying at the house back in the Bay Area, "The Pub" is ground zero for a consistently executed meal: service, food, and wine are all winners here and have been for years. If nothing else, come and rub shoulders with the who's who of Silicon Valley. Don't let the word 'pub' dissuade you: this is one of the best restaurants in the Bay Area |
