| comments | Solid Italian cooking in a pleasant atmosphere with a great wine list. While in the northwest section of Austin, I have been there several times due to the overall dining experience, even when alone on business. |

| comments | Outstanding 'posh' Mexican, large selection of wine and tequila. Reservations are a must. When was the last time you went to eat Mexican food at a place that had valet parking? |

| comments | Country-style French, relaxed atmosphere. Nothing too extraordinary, just solid bistro food and a sensibly-priced wine list |

| comments | Fusion cuisine in an old, colonial Hawai'i atmosphere. Solid wine list. Don't forget that you're in Honolulu and will pay appropriately for an upscale experience |

| comments | Dim sum so good that wine expert Robert Parker named it as one of his all time favorite restaurants in 1998. While there probably isn't much wine there (I did not check), the dim sum was the best I have ever had in the US. And that's saying something, considering that I grew up around San Francisco. Worth a visit, and expect to wait for your table (and well worth the wait) |

| comments | Jacket required! Excellent wine list, solid and satisfactory cooking. Ambiance a tad too formal in an attempt to impart a romantic vibe, complete with colonial kitch which forced me to order a second bottle of wine (dinner for two) in an effort to numb the décor. But do go here, as the food and the wine are among the best in DC |
